Allyn International Donates More Than $4,000 and Over 300 Gifts to Foster Care Advisory Services
Allyn International Services makes charitable contribution to children during the holiday season.
FORT MYERS, Fla. (December 11, 2019) – Allyn International (Allyn), a local supply chain consulting firm, has donated more than $4,000 and approximately 300 toys with a value of $5,000 to Foster Care Advisory Services (FCAS). Each quarter at Allyn, an employee is given the opportunity to raise funds for a nonprofit of their choice. For Allyn’s fourth quarter of the year, the fundraiser for FCAS is run by Allyn employee, Katrina Ramsey, where toys and funds are donated by other employees. On Wednesday, December 12th, 2019, Fox4 News came to film and interview Ramsey and charity coordinators on-site as they came to receive the check and toys.
For the FCAS fundraiser, employees are given a list of foster children to sign up and sponsor by giving them at least two items on their wish-list. A Christmas tree is set up and employees bring their donations throughout the holiday season. This year, more than 300 gifts were donated to 104 children, with a value of $5,000. Gifts include toys, clothes, technology, educational resources, and other items foster care children are in need of.
Allyn matches each donation amount, this quarter’s donation is $4,160. The firm has been doing this for over five years and is proud to call it a tradition to their Fort Myers, Florida headquarters.

The Stress of the Holidays can Drive Higher Relapse Rates

The Stress of the Holidays can

Drive Higher Relapse Rates.

Some stress factors include financial burdens brought on by the holidays, family conflict, disruption of schedule, emotional stress causes higher than normal relapse rates.

ARCHway will receive higher than usual requests for help
 this Holiday Season.

Unfortunately, relapsing can be a normal part of the journey of recovery but let’s not let it be the end of the journey.

ARCHway is working to raise $20,000 this Holiday Season to help individuals who relapse get back to or stay in their Structured Aftercare Program.

We have two families (Crickette Brown Glad & The Stuckey Family) who have committed together to match up to $10,000 raised. If you can find it in your heart to donate any amount that helps us raise the other $10,000 it would help so many during this season. The $20,000 would allow us to give out forty $500 Scholarships to individuals with financial barriers who want to be in recovery. This Holiday Campaign is a one week Campaign starting December 11th and ending the morning of December 18th. No matter if you can support this effort at this time or not, ARCHway wants to THANK YOU for your on-going support.
To donate, please go to our web site  https://thearchwayinstitute.org/2019-holiday-hope-campaignreducing-the-risk-of-relapse-during-the-holidays/ or make a check out to ARCHway Institute with a note in the memo section of Holiday Campaign and send it to:

LARC to Host 1920s Mystery Fundraiser Event will be held March 12, 2020 at the home of Fran Fenning

FORT MYERS, Fla. (December 10, 2019) – LARC (Lee Association of Remarkable Citizens) will host a glorious evening of delicious food, fine wines, fun and intrigue on Thursday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the historic riverfront home of Fran Fenning in Fort Myers.  Guests will step back in time to the 1920s where an elaborate party is being hosted by the famous silent film actor Eric Jewett.  Thomas and Mina Edison, Henry and Clara Ford, Sidney and Berne Davis are all said to attend along with other famous residents of Southwest Florida of the era.

One of the famous guests has something to hide.  Highly-trained improv actors will set the scene for the evening and guests will have the next two hours to unravel the secret. Sponsorship opportunities and ticket packages are available.

The event is co-chaired by philanthropist Marc Collins and Dwayne Bergmann, principal of Dwayne Bergmann Interiors.  Fran Fenning is the honorary event chair.

Fenning’s home, also known as the Jewett-Thompson house, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Built in 1926, during the land boom period, the home is one of the most elaborate constructed in Southwest Florida during that time.  The home is an excellent example of Mediterranean Revival style and includes beautiful gardens.

Attendees are encouraged to dress to match the 1920s era.

“We are so grateful to Fran Fenning for opening her home for our fundraiser.  It is a magnificent property,” said Angela Katz, LARC Development Director.  “Guests will have the opportunity to roam the 3+ acres while partaking in the plot and proceeds from the event will benefit LARC’s programs that empower individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential.”

Sponsorship packages that include an exclusive VIP reception are available.

For ticket package or sponsorship information visit www.larcleecounty.org, call Angela Katz at (239) 334-6285 x 229 or email [email protected]

COPYLADY EARNS ENX MAGAZINE ELITE DEALER OF THE YEAR AWARD

(FORT MYERS, Florida) – ENX Magazine announced that CopyLady was chosen this year as a 2019 Elite Dealer.  The prestigious award, which is published annually, signifies the Who’s Who of the office technology dealer community.
ENX Magazine selected this year’s winners based on several criteria, including marketing prowess, digital transformation, leadership, work environment, technology, customer service and charitable endeavors.
CopyLady was established in 2002 in Fort Myers, Florida by businesswoman and entrepreneur Cynthia Duff.  Built from the ground up on the principles of integrity and service, Cynthia has grown CopyLady into the leading supplier of copiers and printers to the business community of Southwest Florida.
“CopyLady is honored to be recognized by ENX with the coveted Elite Dealer award,” says President and CEO Cynthia Duff. “It symbolizes our commitment to complete customer satisfaction while providing innovative business technology solutions for our clients. It really benefits all when a company’s corporate culture remains dedicated to integrity and professionalism. I’m so proud of our CopyLady team!”
“In our eyes, an Elite Dealer makes a concerted effort to produce a winning experience for not just its clients, but its employees and vendors as well,” said Susan Neimes, managing editor of ENX Magazine and ENX The Week in Imaging. “A defined corporate culture and a willingness to embrace new technologies—and share them with their customer base—also goes a long way. There’s no one ingredient behind an Elite Dealer—it’s a confluence of many factors that lifts these performers above the rest.”
