New Play Contest Saturday, Dec 14 • Join us for food, libations and readings from the top 3 entries in our New Play Contest. Your favorite will be produced next season and receive the Janet & Bruce Bunch New Play Contest Award. The New Play Contest, now in its 21st year, provides opportunity for audiences to get involved with the production process itself, rather than the end result. Finalists are selected from over 500 entries around the world.

The Mountaintop by Katori Hall January 16 – 26 • A gripping reimagination of events the night before the assassination of the civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. On April 3, 1968, after delivering one of his most memorable speeches, an exhausted Dr. King retires to his room at the Lorraine Motel while a storm rages outside. When a mysterious stranger arrives with some surprising news, King is forced to confront his destiny and his legacy to his people.
