Ribbon Cutting Request Form

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce looks forward to joining you to celebrate your company’s groundbreaking, grand opening, anniversary, or another special occasion with a ribbon cutting! We are always delighted to help member businesses commemorate these milestones. Your achievement is a contribution to the business development of the Greater Fort Myers area – Congratulations! We ask that you schedule your ribbon cutting at least 30 days, in advance so we can notify our Member Ambassadors Committee and Board of Directors and share it in our weekly e-newsletter and website. We typically hold ribbon cuttings at 8:30 a.m. or 4:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday. The Chamber will bring the ribbon and “the big scissors” for ribbon cuttings. If you are having a groundbreaking, please provide hard hats and shovels. If there are additional details such as an agenda or press release to consider regarding this event, please attach them to this form.
