Free Seminar Offered by Facial Plastic Surgeon Dr. Stephen Prendiville

FORT MYERS, FLA., January 7, 2019 – A new non-surgical option to correct facial wrinkles has been approved by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and will be explained at a free seminar conducted by facial plastic surgeon Dr. Stephen Prendiville.
“Genius” is a radio frequency micro-needling device that delivers radio frequency energy to a variety of depths, regardless of skin type.  It can be used for several facial rejuvenation treatments, including skin tightening, acne scarring, stretch marks, scars and improvements in skin texture, according to Dr. Prendiville.
Dr. Prendiville is the first facial plastic surgeon in Southwest Florida to offer the new Genius, which was developed by Lutronic, a global aesthetic laser medical device manufacturer.
Dr Prendiville will explain the advantages of Genius as well as other facial rejuvenation procedures at a free seminar Friday, Jan. 25, in Naples.
The seminar begins at 11:30 a.m. with a light lunch at the Naples Hilton, 5111 Tamiami Trail N.  The seminar is free, but reservations are required by calling 239-437-3900.  Space is limited.
“We’re excited to be the first in Southwest Florida to offer this new treatment. The advantage of Genius radio frequency micro-needling is that patients can get these dramatic results without laser resurfacing and virtually no downtime,” said Dr. Prendiville, who also is the medical director of the Assuage Luxury Spa in North Naples. “Patients can apply makeup after just 24 hours and it is safe for all skin types.”
Using before and after pictures of actual patients, Dr. Prendiville also will discuss the latest advances in facelifts, eyelid lifts, nose surgery, lasers, and reconstructive surgery.  He also will review injectable wrinkle fillers Botox®, Sculptra®, Juvederm®; Restylane®, Restylane Silk®, Radiesse®, Voluma®, Vollure®, and Revanesse Versa® for deeper wrinkles and lines.
Another recent advance that Dr. Prendiville will discuss is SculpSure®, which is approved by the FDA as the world’s first non-invasive fat-melting laser device to treat stubborn fat in just 25 minutes.  SculpSure is available at the Assuage Luxury Spa in Naples.
In addition to a light lunch, attendees will be able to make an appointment for a free consultation with Dr. Prendiville.
Dr. Prendiville is the only Fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon in Fort Myers who is certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.  He has performed more than 3,000 surgical procedures.
He is recognized nationally as a facelift expert with more than 20 articles published in medical journals and he has served as guest editor for Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics of North America.
Dr. Prendiville is one of only 10 doctors in the U.S. to be honored as an Elite Inductee into the RealSelf 100 and RealSelf 500 Hall of Fame for excellent patient service and his willingness to answer patient inquiries on the RealSelf website, which is the leading online community that helps people make confident choices in elective cosmetic procedures.  To achieve Elite Inductee status, surgeons must be among the top 1 percent of more than 1,000 surgeons reviewed.
Dr. Prendiville is the past president and secretary/treasurer of the Florida Society of Facial Plastic Surgery, an association consisting of 250 facial plastic surgeons in the state.
Dr. Prendiville graduated with his M.D. degree with high honors from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and served his residency at Georgetown University.
He was awarded a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at St. Louis University in Missouri, where he was a clinical instructor in the St. Louis University Department of Otolaryngology.
All surgeries are performed at Dr. Prendiville’s state-of-the-art Surgical Center adjacent to his office in South Fort Myers at 9407 Cypress Lake Drive..  The Surgical Center is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF), which is the largest accrediting body for outpatient surgical facilities in the United States. CEO Today Magazine Awards USA 2018 CEO to Sissil Dep of Oceana Global Logistics in Fort Myers, FL

January 4, 2019: Respect is the cornerstone belief that has guided Sissil Dep, CEO and Director of Sales of Oceana Global Logistics, in building a firm foundation for success in the field of global logistics. The challenge he welcomes is to create an atmosphere of confidence and agreement with customers, colleagues and even with competitors. Competition, he feels, helps improve services as the ability to respect and learn from others engenders competence and trust in a rapidly growing global industry.
Sissil, a self-effacing 45-year-old CEO, cites teamwork, cooperation and conflict resolution as the keys to business acumen. With foresight and expertise, he has established a full-service company that has grown from ground zero into the successful operational logistics firm of today, handling multi-million-dollar accounts and shipments on international waters. Frequent travel demands take Sissil to worldwide locations such as India, Malaysia, and UAE as well as several logistics conferences this past year, including FIATA/India, WCA/Singapore and Pangea/Germany. Attending these conferences allows this peripatetic CEO to promote education and understanding regarding logistics solutions in the US market.
Overcoming commercial obstacles is Sissil’s forte. The persistence and positivity that “nothing is impossible” has positioned Oceana as a successful troubleshooter and mediator within the confines of industry regulations. If original project expectations cannot be met, it is incumbent upon the company to provide a realistic and achievable plan to meet customer goals within timely parameters. According to Sissil, learning from mistakes, meeting them forthrightly and working on resolutions are integral to success. This persistent problem-solving framework is another hallmark of the service that Oceana Global builds upon to ensure its growing success rate.
Sissil credits company employees with business success, citing that it is competency in logistics functioning and contribution of all Oceana team members that allows innovative solutions to provide project completion in a timely and satisfactory manner to all concerned parties.
Sissil’s approach to sales is a personal one, often overcoming communication barriers by sharing commonalities in interests such as musical preferences as well as the international language of the industry. Finding connection with others begins Oceana’s service of fulfilling customers’ industrial and commercial needs, and makes the global logistics connections possible. When confronted with obstacles in the delivery process, Sissil’s mediation of dissonant objectives often shifts impossibilities to possible fruition. His humility and modesty encourage the involvement of all parties to “get the job done right.” The reward of a job well done is the satisfaction that Sissil enjoys as much as a glowing company reputation and financial gains.
Born in Sri Lanka, Sissil immigrated to the United States permanently many years ago. His prior experience in his country of origin was in the bank industry, and his initiation into the logistics field began in New York. Recognition of his astute mathematical prowess and unwavering work ethic soon earned him opportunities to utilise exceptional skills in accounting and finance in the freight industry. These experiences provided the firm foundation on which Oceana Global is built. His 24/7 availability allows little time for relaxation, but he enjoys music and ballroom dancing for stress reduction, achieving many accomplishments in this leisure pursuit as well.
Sissil’s outlook for the future is optimistic and innovative. His vision for sustainable, long-term growth is to create impactful strategies to meet expanding global demands. By maintaining outstanding performance in the industry, Oceana is paving the way to a long and successful business life.
