ALERT

U.S. 41 Caloosahatchee Bridge
Closure
Begins May 31

In an effort to finish the Caloosahatchee Bridge project a year ahead of schedule, the bridge will be
completely closed starting the evening of May 31 through August 11, 2024. After August 11, the
bridge will reopen with nighttime bridge closures and daytime lane closures
as needed.

During the closure, crews will complete the construction of the single median barrier, install new
guardrail along the east side of the northbound lanes, and work on the sidewalk on the west side of
the southbound lanes.  Please see attached information.

Electronic message boards and directional signs will be used to make motorists aware of alternate
routes that can be used.

Stay informed and sign up for construction alerts and view improvement plans by visitinghttps://
