Extreme Companies Join Forces with Golisano Children’s Hospital at 2024 Cares for Kids Radiothon

Fort Myers, FL – May 28, 2024 – Extreme Companies proudly partnered with Golisano Children’s Hospital during the 2024 Cares for Kids Radiothon held on April 4th. The event, which took place at the hospital, aimed to raise crucial funds to support its mission of providing vital and lifesaving care to children and their families in Southwest Florida.

Golisano Children’s Hospital, the only children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami, has been a beacon of hope and care for local families, ensuring that the region’s youngest residents receive the highest standard of medical treatment. The Radiothon plays a pivotal role in sustaining this mission, gathering community support to help the hospital continue its invaluable work.

During this year’s Radiothon, Extreme Companies demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the community by becoming “Miracle Makers” for an entire hour. Throughout this period, Extreme Companies matched every donation made, doubling the impact of each contribution. This generous act underscored their dedication to supporting Southwest Florida families, especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, which had a profound impact on the region.

“Being part of the 2024 Cares for Kids Radiothon was an honor for Extreme Companies,” said Duane Lopez, co-founder of Extreme Companies. “We understand the challenges that families face, and we are committed to giving back to our community in every way possible. Matching donations was our way of amplifying the support for Golisano Children’s Hospital and ensuring that they can continue to provide exceptional care.”
