Under the stellar direction of Caesar Vera, the band has undergone a remarkable evolution, transitioning to a 6-piece Cuban Son format in 2022. HEAT LATIN JAZZ BAND ![]() Heat Latin Jazz Band is a 6-piece salsa/Latin Jazz group based in Fort Myers, Florida. Now in their tenth year in action, their music covers a wide variety of traditional Afro-Cuban and Latin music, ranging from salsa classics, Latin jazz, and original compositions. These hits of today and yesterday are performed by musicians who are not only very active in the SWFL music scene, but also come from diverse backgrounds such as Argentina, Cuba, Mexico and Venezuela.
