SWFBT looks back at 2023, ahead to 2024
Here we are looking at the holidays AND the final issue of Southwest Florida Business Today
(SWFBT) for 2023: we’re now in our 17th year of publication!
SWFBT is “wrapping up” this year with its annual big finish, including your Hurricane Ian
survival and success stories, in our “Looking Back, Looking Ahead” edition. High resolution
photos are welcome, no web images please.
So share your year-end “business wrap-up” and 2024 “business forecast” with the local
business community (300 words)–it’s coming up fast with a guest column deadline of
5pm Wednesday November 8 and an ad proof and space reservation deadline of 5pm
Friday November 10. I can take system ready ad material up till noon Monday, Nov 13.
Send all editorial submissions to email@example.com. Send all ad
files to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can review the specs online.
Learn more about guest column guidelines and the advertising rates for this edition

Let’s all remember to take some time to reflect and be thankful this month.
With my best wishes for you, your business, and your family—and deepest appreciation,

SWFBT TAKES TO THE AIRWAVES WITH WGCU
Kick off your business week with “Moore About Business,” by tuning in to the Southwest
Florida PBS and National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate, WGCU radio at 90.1 FM, airing
on either “Morning Edition” or “All Things Considered” the first day of each work week
to hear SWFBT founder, owner and publisher Karen P. Moore share information and in-
sights for and about our local business community.
If you miss a segment, go to https://news.wgcu.org/tags/moore-about-business to hear
current and past segments.
On February 20, 2023, when Moore’s radio segment regarding the future of development
of Fort Myers Beach was posted to social media, it received more than 50,000 hits—one
of the highest number of hits for a single post in WGCU Radio’s history.
SWFBT’S website, swfloridabusinesstoday.com, updated throughout the day throughout
the business week, is where our digital version of the newspaper, 2024 Deadline Calendar,
popular online B2B Events Calendar and timely news and information that is not included
in the print edition—are available to you anytime of the day or night to help you with your
business! You can also post news items there.
2024 advertising rates are also now available:
please email email@example.com to have them sent to you.
SWFBT is hiring delivery drivers Due to recent expansion, we currently seek a part-time

growth and success. The driver works 2-3 business days per month, per route. Deliveries
are made from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access to a computer and computer printer preferred.

at (239)770-7527, for more details.
