Upcoming Museum Closures      

It’s the most exciting time of the year at CMON – time for the annual Night At The Museum Gala!
To allow staff time to set up for this invaluable fundraising opportunity, the museum will be closed
to the public on Friday, February 9th, and Saturday, February 10th.

Upcoming Events at CMON          

Join CMON and Miss Elaina, Mini Buddhas yoga instructor, on Sunday, February 11th from 9:15-9:45.
Yoga has many benefits for children through the mind-body connection. Class registration is per child

and meditation kits, designed by Miss Elaina to make every opportunity for play an opportunity to get in
tune with your body.

   

Fashion Night At The Museum is back, with three new 2024 dates to choose from! This evening event led by
Chelsea Provenzano, founder of The Designer’s Accomplice, is perfect for the budding fashionista in your life.
Join us at CMON for an evening of crafting, fashion, and fun, complete with a red-carpet runway and star-
worthy snacks!

Designers will create their own 80s-style neon belt bag, and all attendees are encouraged to dress as their
favorite Barbie or Ken!

Our popular Art Workshop series is continuing with many February dates! Join us on:

-February 3rd
-February 13th
-February 17th
-February 20th
-February 24th
-February 27th  

All Spring Art Workshop sessions are now on sale. Register for one class, or sign up for them all!  
Your 7 – 10 year old artist will love these varied and engaging classes. All students will create a take-
home work of art at each session. $20 registration fee per class for non-members, $10 for members.

Rainbowdance is back for Spring sessions!  

If you missed these 45-minute classes full of music and movement, not to worry –
Spring classes are available for registration. CMON now offers Rainbowdance
for three age groups:  

Ages 0-5 on Monday mornings between
January 13th and May 8th, 2024  

Grades 3 – 5 on Monday afternoons between
April 1st and May 13, 2024.

All sessions are now available for registration online.
$25 for non members, $20 for members.

Is your little one loving Rainbowdance? The CMON Museum Store now carries a selection
of Sarah’s Silks play silks, perfect for recreating your favorite Rainbowdance activities.  

Play silks can be used for every type of open ended play imaginable, and more!    

CMON is proud to present CMON Class!  

CMON Class is created for children with inquisitive minds in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
In this thirty-minute drop-off session, children will engage in a variety of STEM activities, along
with mindfulness and emotional intelligence development. Each week will have a different theme,
so come back every week to participate in new activities!  

Classes are on select Mondays starting 2/12 through 5/13 at 4:00 p.m. and are included with
admission.  

Sign-up for the classes will take place the day of the program at the Front Desk, opening up 30
minutes before the session begins and is first come, first serve. The class is a drop-off format,
but parents must remain on campus for the duration of the program.    

Spring Break Is Coming Up Fast      

Spring Break is coming up fast, and our Spring Break and Single Day spring camps are ready
for registration. Hurry, these spots go fast!  

Join us for a week of Spring Break Camp from March 11th to the 15th, or for Single Day
Camp on Friday, March 22nd.

Congratulations To Our CEO!      

We’re both honored and proud that CEO Jonathan Foerster has been selected for Naples Illustrated‘s
2024 Naples 100. The annual list recognizes the most influential business leaders and advocates in
Collier County who are making their mark in our community. We are fortunate to have him at the
helm of the museum, and we look forward to many more years of his visionary leadership.

We are Hiring!      
Thank you for your interest in working at CMON! We are hiring Museum Educators
to join our Education Team.  

The museum educator is responsible for developing, implementing, and teaching
CMON educational programs for children within age range 0-10 and their families.
These education programs happen in the museum and in the community. The Museum
Educator is responsible for developing unique, hands-on, inquiry-based programs and
curricula that serve a diverse community.
