collaboration, The Sound of Music, took Broadway by storm, this R&H musical
opened the 1994 Broadway season with flair and distinction, garnering wildly
enthusiastic notices and earning two Tony nominations, including Best Musical.

Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass:
Immerse yourself in the grandeur and magnificence of Joseph
Haydn’s masterwork, his Lord Nelson Mass. This stirring choral
piece is a testament to Haydn’s brilliance as a composer and
showcases a powerful blend of orchestra and voices.

Winter Moons is a ballet based upon American Indian legends
from the Northern Plains and Rocky Mountains. It is in four move-
ments and is performed with a live storyteller to guide the audience
thought the different legends. The title of the ballet is derived from
the idea that American Indian stories are best told during the full
moons of the wintertime

Nunsense II:
The Second Coming

Having been “bitten by the theater bug” the sisters are back to present a “thank-you”
show for all the people who supported them in the past. Things get to off to a rousing
start as the sisters sing Nunsense, the Magic Word, but before long chaos erupts. Two
Franciscans come to claim Sister Mary Amnesia (who has won the Publishers Clearing
House Sweepstakes) as one of their own. At the same time the nuns hear that a talent
scout is in the audience to see them strut their stuff.

Sunday Chamber Music:
Verona Quartet

The Verona Quartet has appeared across four continents, captivating
audiences at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center (New York
City), Kennedy Center, Library of Congress (Washington, D.C.), Jordan
Hall (Boston), Wigmore Hall (U.K.) and Melbourne Recital Hall (Australia),
and has performed at festivals including La Jolla Summerfest, Chamber
Music Northwest, Caramoor, Alpenglow, and Bravo! Vail, and with the
Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

Candlelight Concerts at the MACC

Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical
experiences like never seen before in Fort Myers.  Immerse yourself
is the glorious sounds of string quartet in a theater lit only by candle-
light, as the Listeso String Quartet performs various concerts from
Vivaldi to Taylor Swift.  For more information on specific concerts and
