Dear Greater Fort Myers Chamber Community Partners!

The Food Network will be filming an episode of the “Great Food Truck Race”
here in Fort Myers, THIS WEEK, Wednesday, February 21st. This show is
a competition show, meaning this is the last episode with the two finalist Food
Trucks.

They are shooting a scene in Centennial Park, and then filming the two food
trucks selling food on First Street downtown.

The Centennial Park scene is the open for the episode where host Tyler Florence
welcomes the final 2 remaining teams of chefs to Fort Myers. That scene would
take place from about 9am – 11am. Afterwards, about 11:30am, the two food trucks
will be filmed for several hours selling food for the competition on our very
own historic downtown First Street!

OUR ASK:
We want to impress the producers at the Food Network so much, they put Fort
Myers at the top of their filming list for any and all future show opportunities. The
producers want long lines! So tell friends and family, come on out, enjoy some
great food, and maybe be on camera!
