Community Cooperative Announces New Board Members and Slate of Officers to Drive Mission

FORT MYERS, Fla. (January 9, 2024) – Community Cooperative proudly announces the appointment of four distinguished individuals to its Board of Directors. Their collective commitment will help Community Cooperative’s mission of ending hunger in Southwest Florida. 

Joining Community Cooperative’s board of directors are Frank Aloia Jr., Senior Partner and Co-founder at Aloia, Roland, Lubell & Morgan PLLC; Bess Charles, Co-owner of LadyCakes Bakery; Dr. Angela J. Pruitt, Chief Human Resources Officer at Lee County School District; and Mark Stevens, Founder of Steven’s Construction, Inc. Each brings a wealth of dedication and shared passion for ending hunger in Southwest Florida communities. 

“We are thrilled to welcome these outstanding individuals to our board,” said Stefanie Ink-Edwards, CEO of Community Cooperative. “Their diverse backgrounds and unwavering commitment to Community Cooperative’s mission will significantly contribute to ending hunger throughout our communities.” 

In addition to its new board members, Community Cooperative is pleased to announce its new slate of officers:

  • Chairwoman, Charlotte Miller, FPL External Affairs Manager
  • Vice Chair, Ryan Van Horn, P resident, and CEO of Custom Packaging & Products
  • Treasurer, Robert Galloway, Vice President of Galloway Automotive
  • Secretary, Julie Klein, Directors, Operations at CRS Technology Consultants

The incoming board of directors and new slate officers will play a pivotal role in steering Community Cooperative towards innovative solutions and sustainable impact. Community Cooperative thanks them for being a part of their crucial mission.
