Upcoming Events at CMON          

Join CMON and Miss Elaina, Mini Buddhas yoga instructor, on Sunday,
January 14th from 9:15-9:45. Yoga has many benefits for children through
the mind-body connection.

Class registration is per child (with 1 parent included). Check-in begins at
the front desk at 9:00 a.m.

Want to bring the yoga studio home with you? The CMON Museum Store carries
Just Play by E. Co yoga and meditation kits, designed by Miss Elaina to make every
opportunity for play an opportunity to get in tune with your body.
       

Thomas & Friends Come to Town – Jan 27th

   

Everyone’s favorite very useful engine will be rolling into town this month. Help us
welcome the Island of Sodor’s #1 train on January 27th for the opening of CMON’s
latest traveling exhibit, Thomas & Friends™: Explore the Rails!  

Are you a CMON member? Join us from 9 am to 10 am for a special member preview
of the exhibit!

Our popular Art Workshop series is continuing with many January dates!
Join us on
-January 9th
-January 13th
-January 16th

-January 23rd
-January 27th
-January 30th

All winter and spring Art Workshop sessions are now on sale.
Register for one class, or sign up for them all!  

Your 7 – 10 year old artist will love these varied and engaging
classes. All students will create a take-home work of art at each session.

$20 registration fee per class for non-members,
$10 for members.

Rainbowdance is returning soon!  
If you missed these 45-minute classes full of music and movement,
not to worry – Spring classes are available for registration. CMON
now offers Rainbowdance for three age groups:

-Ages 0-5 on Monday mornings between January 13th and
May 8th, 2024

-Grades K – 2 on Monday afternoons between January 8th and
February 26th, 2024

Grades 3 – 5 on Monday afternoons between April 1st and
May 13, 2024.

All sessions are now available for registration online.
$25 for non members, $20 for members.

Spring sessions of Mini Wonders are available now for registration.
Cmon’s Mini Wonders Workshops are set up to help your child be-
come kindergarten ready. Our CMON Educators closely follow the
guidelines set out by our local school districts and child development
advocates to guide your young ones to practice essential skills that
enable the transition from PreK or home-based learning to a formal
kindergarten classroom.  

Classes are free for members, and
$10 for non-members.

and Single Day spring camps are ready for registration!

We are Hiring!      

Thank you for your interest in working at CMON! We are hiring Museum
Educators to join our Education Team.  

The museum educator is responsible for developing, implementing, and
teaching CMON educational programs for children within age range 0-10
and their families. These education programs happen in the museum and in
the community. The Museum Educator is responsible for developing unique,
hands-on, inquiry-based programs and curricula that serve a diverse community.
