To our friends at the Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce,

Community Cooperative strives to be the leader in alleviating hunger and homelessness in our community by addressing key root causes. Through collaboration and ongoing education, Community Cooperative supports and strengthens those whose lives have been affected by hunger and homelessness, ensuring that they have access to the resources necessary to transform their lives with dignity.

While they have made great strides in their efforts to alleviate hunger in Southwest Florida, the fight is not over.  Studies show that children in Southwest Florida are more likely to face hunger than children nationwide. In Southwest Florida, 20.4% of children are food insecure vs. 17% of children nationwide. That means of the 227,645 children in Southwest Florida, 46,470 are food insecure.

We need your help to continue pursuing their mission. We would like you to consider donating to our food drive. With the rising cost of food, housing, and gas, more and more people are turning to food banks for help. Your donation will go towards feeding the families in our community.

Best Home Services will be hosting a food drive on August 22nd, 2023 at Sprouts Farmers Market in Naples, FL. On August 23rd and August 24th, we will be collecting the donations from other businesses who have participated. We will be accepting both monetary and food donations.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I would be more than happy to provide you with additional information about the food drive and how you can support our efforts. If you wish to contribute, please call me at (239) 944-8785 or email me at [email protected].

Thank you,

Taylor Granoski
