MAY EDITION DEADLINE 4/12
TIME TO SALUTE SWFL SMALL BUSINESS
Here we are looking at May—still moving through unprecedented times. What better time for the region
to celebrate and support small business and its contribution to the local economy? So here in Southwest Florida,
you can be a part of Southwest Florida Business Today’s (SWFBT) 15th Annual “Salute To Small Business”
FocusFeature in our upcoming May edition. Whether you’re a small, mid-sized or large organization in this region,
be a part of this special tribute to our local small business community at this very important time.
In this tribute to small business tailored to the times, you may submit your 300-word small business success story,
or tribute, to a local small business.
We will continue to work through these challenging times, like so many times before in Southwest Florida
—together and with gratitude.

SWFBT TAKES TO THE AIRWAVES WITH WGCU
Kick off your business week with “Moore About Business,” by tuning in to the Southwest Florida PBS and
National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate, WGCU radio at 90.1 FM, airing on either “Morning Edition” or
“All Things Considered” the first day of each work week to hear SWFBT founder, owner and publisher
Karen P. Moore share information and insights for and about our local business community. If you miss a
segment, go to https://news.wgcu.org/tags/moore-about-business to hear current and past segments.
On February 20, 2023, when Moore’s radio segment regarding the future of development of Fort Myers Beach
was posted to social media, it received more than 50,000 hits—one of the highest number of hits for a single
post in WGCU Radio’s history.
SWFBT is hiring delivery drivers
We currently seek a part-time driver for our Naples route. The position offers flexibility as a nice side gig for some
extra cash, while serving in a role that is crucial to SWFBT’s continued growth and success. The driver works 2-3
business days per month, per route. Deliveries are made from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access to a computer and computer
printer preferred. If you know of someone who is a good fit for such a position, please have them call Karen at
(239)770-7527, for more details.
Please consider the following testimonials when making your decision to either submit a guest column or invest
advertising dollars in Southwest Florida Business Today (SWFBT):

Steve Bray, Naples-Fort Myers, 9-Year Advertiser
“I’ve advertised in Southwest Florida Business Today for the past 15 years. It is the most affordable way to reach the local
business community. And everyone should take advantage of the free guest column opportunity!”
