 NOVEMBER EDITION DEADLINE 10/11 Happy Anniversary to you! It is SWFBT’s annual Anniversary Edition—a time to honor our local small business community. This year it is a very special Anniversary Edition–because we’re also looking at the one-year anniversary of when Hurricane Ian came to our shores.  So for this, our November edition, we are seeking stories of heroism, generosity, survival and success in our business community, as we give a nod to Hurricane Ian. We hope that the bit of time that has passed will make it “easier” for business owners to share their heartfelt stories (300-word limit). Or you may share your anniversary story in 300 words. November is traditionally our annual Anniversary Edition, which celebrates all anniversaries—whether it’s the 1st, 11th or 25th—of ALL organizations, both for-profit and non-profit. SWFBT TAKES TO THE AIRWAVES WITH WGCU Kick off your business week with “Moore About Business,” by tuning in to the Southwest Florida PBS and National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate, WGCU radio at 90.1 FM, airing on either “Morning Edition” or “All Things Considered” the first day of each work week to hear SWFBT founder, owner and publisher Karen P. On February 20, 2023, when Moore’s radio segment regarding the future of development of Fort Myers Beach was posted to social media, it received more than 50,000 hits—one of the highest number of hits for a single post in WGCU Radio’s history. LISTEN NOW DRIVERS WANTED SWFBT is hiring delivery drivers We currently seek a part-time driver for our Naples and Estero routes. The position offers flexibility as a nice side gig for some extra cash, while serving in a role that is crucial to SWFBT’s continued growth and success. The driver works 2-3 business days per month, per route. Deliveries are made from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access to a computer and computer printer preferred.
