Get out of the HEAT and into a COOL seat!

Class is in Session Soon!

Sister says, “Get out your uniforms and
schoolbooks because class starts next
week!” But we say, come as you are
and be ready for a “class” session filled
with interactive hilarity!

LATE NITE CATECHISM
  begins June
19, and our irrepressible Sister is ready
to tackle some big topics in an intense,
hilarious, yet lovable way. Every per-
formance is uniquely shaped by who
is in the audience, making each session
a one-of-a-kind experience. This is live
theatre at its hysterical best. You don’t
want to miss it!

LATE NITE CATECHISM
By Vicki Quade & Maripat Donovan

PLAYING JUNE 19 – JULY 7
Class is in session in the ArtStage Studio Theatre
2 PM on Wed., Thurs, Fri., Sat., and Sun., and 7
PM on Fri. & Sat.

This sinfully, funny night of interactive comedy is part stand-up routine, part
comedy theatre, and part exaggerated catechism class.  The show is designed as
a participatory theatre experience led by Sister (played by actress Denise Marie
Christina Fennell) who expects her students (aka audience members) to participate
or FACE THE WRATH! (Just kidding, mostly.)

You don’t have to be Catholic to get a kick out of
the
Nun-sense in this “class.” IT’S FUN FOR ALL!

The program is accepting and warm to people of all faiths and designed to bring
every audience member – no matter their viewpoint – closer together. The Hollywood
Reporter declared LATE NITE CATECHISM  “a laugh-filled evening for all cultures,
classes and religions.” WATCH  VIDEO TO LEARN MORE

Auditions for Season 27 underway in NYC!

Producing Artistic Director Greg Longenhagen and Associate Artistic Director Jason
Parrish traveled to New York City last week to begin formal auditions for Season 27
productions. While there, the pair got help facilitating the process from a few
familiar faces. Michael Marotta was on hand to weigh in on auditions for FOREVER
PLAID, our first production of the 27th season which he will be directing. Jackie
Schram and Matt Lytle (from A SHERLOCK CAROL) were also on hand to assist as
readers, with Stephanie Layton serving as pianist/musical consultant.

More than 100 people, most of whom are professional actors affiliated with Actors’
Equity, participated in the auditions.
