Shred Sensitive Documents at LMCU’s Fort Myers Shred Day Event

Fort Myers, FL (September 29, 2023) – Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is pleased to announce details for their fall Shred Your Stuff Day event located at their Fort Myers branch on Summerlin Lakes Drive.

On Saturday, October 7, from 9-11 a.m., members and non-members can bring up to six Bankers-Box-sized boxes of sensitive or personal documents to LMCU’s Fort Myers branch, located at 7920 Summerlin Lakes Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33907 and have the documents professionally shredded and disposed of for free. LMCU has offered this service for many years, and it’s just one of the many ways LMCU protects their members from identity theft.

Those looking to have their documents shredded should drive up and remain in their vehicles for the safety of staff and participants. Event details are subject to change. Any changes to the event schedule will be posted on LMCU.org and LMCU’s social media pages.
