Subcontracting & Teaming – April 26 10am
For many small businesses, entry into government contracting will or should begin as a subcontractor. This webinar will provide the small business owner with an understanding of the overall subcontracting process, including the format for a Subcontract and Teaming agreement, how to protect your company during the relationship and the overall benefits of subcontracting. This seminar will also provide the suggested rules of engagement and the contractual relationship between prime contractor, subcontractor and the government, for small businesses in the Tampa Bay region. Attendees of this webinar will have the opportunity to join Karen in a separate GoToMeeting Virtual Meetup from 11am – Noon, for networking with other government contractors. Leveraging Government Funding Opportunities: SBIR – April 26 10am
This Spring, weVENTURE WBC is hosting an informative three-part series on how you as a small business can leverage Government Funding Opportunities to build the business of your dreams.
In our first session, we will help you explore the Small Business Innovation Research Program. The SBIR program has over $4 billion in annual funding opportunities, intended to help small businesses conduct research and development. Every federal agency has SBIR funding opportunities, meaning this is a fantastic opportunity for innovative entrepreneurs across all industries.
