New Foot & Ankle Specialist Joins Physicians Regional Medical Group

Naples, Fla. (Jan. 29, 2018) Orthopaedic Surgeon, Christina Kabbash, M.D., PhD., M.P.H., joined Physicians Regional Medical Group at the Pine Ridge campus this January.
 
Dr. Kabbash is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in Foot & Ankle to include treatment for hammer toes, bunions, painful flat foot, arthritis in the foot and ankle, foot and ankle trauma, and traumatic fractures of the extremities, including hips. Dr. Kabbash also attends to preventive care needs such as footwear, inserts/orthotics, bracing, or cortisone injections, and referrals for physical therapy. An elite athlete herself, Dr. Kabbash is a proponent for fitness and is very familiar with the physical demands this can have on the foot and ankle, and is an ardent educator and speaker on this topic.
 
Prior to joining Physicians Regional Medical Group, Dr. Kabbash practiced with the Greater Hartford Orthopaedic Group at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.
 
Dr. Kabbash received her M.D. from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City and is Fellowship Trained in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle trauma and reconstruction. She completed her residency as Chief Resident at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, NY.
 
“My focus is to help patients get back to how they were before the pain or injury was present,“ says Dr. Kabbash.  “Educating my patients to prevent small injuries from becoming worse or a chronic problem is key in the overall ability to heal and return to their normal everyday lives.”
