This lecture reviews China’s global investment program (Belt and Road Initiative) and considers the pros and cons of China’s approach to global economic engagement. What are the long-standing traditions of China that are now incorporated into Communist China? Is China really a Communist state with market characteristics? Where is China headed? Join a 40-year national security affairs analyst as he examines all of these important questions.
