Holiday Market at Edison and Ford Winter Estates

FORT MYERS, Fla. (December 7, 2022) — On December 11, from 4-9 p.m., Edison and Ford Winter Estates is hosting a Holiday Market with craft vendors and holiday merchants. Booths will be situated between the Banyan tree and the Banyan Café.

A large variety of vendors will have handmade gift items available for sale, including beeswax soy candles, soaps, jewelry, cards, coloring books, bags, charcuterie boards for dogs, cookies, pottery, books, essential oils, and artwork made with coconuts, palm fronds and seashells. Visitors will be treated to holiday songs played on a keyboard during the event.

Parking and admission to the market is free (does not include tours or admission to the museum, lab or Holiday Nights). The Garden Shoppe and Museum Store will also be open until 9 p.m. and offers visitors additional gift options.

Edison and Ford Winter Estates
Edison and Ford Winter Estates is the internationally known winter home site of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. More than 220,000 visitors walk through the location each year from all around the globe. The organization has received many awards, including the National Stewardship Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the National Garden Clubs’ Historic Preservation Award. The property is an official project of “Save America’s Treasures,” a Florida Historic Landmark and a National Register Historic Site. The Edison Botanic Laboratory is a National Historic Chemical Landmark. The site is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and until 9 p.m. during the month of December for Holiday Nights.
