Julie Bearden Carver is a remarkable force in musical theatre, serving as the Music Director for the Southwest Florida Theatre
Company at Gulf Coast Symphony. Her incredible talent has graced legendary venues like Juilliard, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln
Center, where she performed alongside luminaries such as Andrea Bocelli and Bernadette Peters. Now Southwest Florida is
lucky to have her, where she brings her expertise to all musical productions at the MACC.

As the Founding Artistic Director of The Callback Company, Julie prepares vocalists for performances, competitions, and college
auditions. Her students consistently gain acceptance into top-tier voice, piano, and musical theatre programs nationwide. Julie’s
coaching experience spans Chicago, Naples, Florida, and NYC, working with performers from the Metropolitan Opera and Broad-
way.

Julie Bearden Carver is set to lead an exciting season as Music Director and performing pianist for the Southwest Florida Theatre
Company at Gulf Coast Symphony. The lineup features Forbidden Broadway’s Greatest Hits, a hilarious spoof of popular Broad-
way shows like Phantom of the Opera and Hamilton. Then, travel to the magical world of King Arthur with Camelot, filled with
enchanting music and a timeless story. Enjoy the fast-paced and witty Murder for 2: A Musical Whodunnit, where two actors play
all the characters in a comedic murder mystery. Finally, celebrate the legendary Jerry Herman with Jerry’s Girls: A Jerry Herman
Revue, featuring songs from hits like Hello, Dolly! and Mame.
