Fort Myers, FL (December 17, 2018) – Grampy’s Charities held their 2nd Annual Pro-Am, benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of Southwest Florida on Friday, December 7th at Fiddlesticks Country Club in Fort Myers. Each of the 22 foursomes included a PGA Professional. Following a picture perfect day of golf, participants enjoyed a delicious luncheon and awards ceremony.
The original tournament was established 30 years ago by McDonald’s owner/operator Fred Frederic, founder of the Fort Myers Ronald McDonald House and chair of the golf committee for 27 years until his passing in August 2015.
Grampy’s Charities graciously offered their support and leadership for the foreseeable future. Over $100,000 was raised at this year’s event and 100% of the proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Program, providing dental screenings, treatment and sealants to underserved children in Southwest Florida.
