The GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge – DASH for Down Syndrome is a fitness and celebratory event with the goal of challenging our community to join a physical and social movement for acceptance of all individuals- just as they are. We will be hosting roughly 250 program participants, families, volunteers, supporters, and community partners. We are also striving to gain the attention and participation of those in our community not familiar with our organization. Please join us on Saturday, April 29th at Estero Community Park to show your acceptance and support of our individuals.

As Southwest Florida’s only Down Syndrome Achievement Center offering free programs and support, we serve families in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades counties.  All funds raised stay in Southwest Florida to continue to provide these free therapeutic and educational programs for individuals of all ages living with Down syndrome and their families.  I have attached our event flyer and Opportunities for Sponsoring this event so you have a digital copy to share as needed.

The greatest fuel for intolerance is misunderstanding. Dash for Down Syndrome is not just a peer-to-peer fundraiser, it is an opportunity to learn and grow through exposure and understanding. This is the first and most crucial step in creating a truly accepting world! This opportunity to celebrate acceptance and inclusion will hopefully change perspectives leading to our goal of global acceptance for all!
