March 14, 2018 – Fort Myers, FL – Great music and delicious barbecue return to the Fort Myers Centennial Park this April at the 5th Annual Smoke on the Water Barbecue Competition and Music Festival! Experience the best barbecue and music festival in Southwest Florida on Friday, April 27th from 6pm – 10pm, and Saturday, April 28th from 11am – 10pm. Admission is free! The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center is located at 2301 First St. in the historic downtown Fort Myers River District.
Entry to Smoke on the Water Barbecue Competition and Music Festival is absolutely free! Attendees can stroll through Centennial Park while enjoying great music and fun for the whole family. This year, event goers can purchase barbecue from one of the many cook teams from across the South. Plus, enjoy local sweets, food, and retail vendors of all kinds. Enjoy music from acts like Sheena Brook, the Nowhere Band, The Electric Mud, and the Ben Allen Band, and shop from one of the many retail vendors. Plus, families will love the fun-filled Kid Zone! Experience the festivities for free, or purchase VIP tickets for Saturday that include a covered picnic area near the stage, one meal, and two drink tickets.
Smoke on the Water Barbecue Competition and Music Festival is a Florida BBQ Association Sanctioned Competition. It includes professional teams from all across the Southeast who fire up their smokers for a chance at the Grand Champion title. ​As a sanctioned contest, Smoke on the Water is a qualifier for the Jack Daniels Invitational Draw ​and the FBA’s new championship contest, the Sonny’s Smokin’ Showdown Invitational​.​ The 5th annual Smoke on the Water Barbecue & Music Festival promises an authentic experience of craft barbecue, beer, and bands!
