Florida Gulf Coast University is a regional institution fostering innovations in academics, environmental sustainability and community engagement under the leadership of President Wilson G. Bradshaw. With 51 undergraduate, 28 master’s and 2 doctoral degree programs, FGCU has matured from a startup school emphasizing distance learning to a more traditional campus with five colleges, 14,000 students and 38 residential buildings. FGCU has awarded nearly 16,000 degrees since opening in Fall 1997.
