Back to Basics: Beginning Zhostovo
Tuesdays, February 20th-March 26th
9:30 am – 12:30 pm  

“Zhostovo painting is an old Russian folk handicraft of painting on
metal trays, which still exists in a village of Zhostovo in the Moscow
Oblast”  In this introduction to Zhostovo, a Russian style of stroke folk
art, Instructor Pat Smelkoff will teach you to paint colorful floral designs
using basic strokes and wet into wet art techniques.

Beyond Basics:Acrylic Painting
Tuesdays, February 20th-March 26th
1pm – 4pm

Pat will lead you through reinforcing these skills: base coating, floating, 
double loading, wet into wet, and dry brushing as you paint 3 beautiful
projects: Egret in the Marsh, Florida Everglades, and Spring Bouquet.
You’ll also learn how to scumble, sponge and use masking fluid to
prep project pieces.

Fluid Art: The Dustpan Pour
Wednesdays, February 14th-March 30th
6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Whether you are a beginner or advanced, these fluid art techniques will be fully
explained, demonstrated and you will go home with two completed pieces.

Neurographica
Thursday, February 22nd
6pm – 8pm  

Neurographica® is a method that enables you to change your perception of yourself
and your surroundings by using drawing techniques. It was developed in 2014 by
Pavel Piskarev, a Russian Psychologist. This 2 hour workshop introduces you to,
and allows you to explore the process.

Fridays with Francesco: Painting with a Limited Palette
Friday, February 23rd
9:30 am – 3pm   In this class with Francesco the students will focus on working
with a limited palette. A limited color palette makes you think a little harder, it is
a fun challenge that will make you learn a lot about color mixing and color theory.

2 Day Workshop: Discover Watercolor Pencils
Saturday and Sunday, February 24th and 25th
9am – 4pm  

Water-soluble colored pencils combine the precision and control of pencil drawing
with the fluid possibilities of watercolor paint. Have fun exploring the many ways
these versatile drawing tools can be used – wet or dry, alone or for mixed media.

Our Spring Break Art Retreat Camp designed just for your little creatives! This camp offers
a variety of activities for kids ages 7-11, our mornings will sparkle with art journaling and
meditation for focus and revitalization. Children will unveil hidden talents in the afternoons
with the rhythm of music and creative expression. Scholarship applications now accepted
