Celebrate National Thrift Shop Day August 17th

Southwest Fla. – Aug 17th is National Thrift Shop Day. It’s a day dedicated to supporting local thrift shops and raising awareness for charitable organizations. Non-profit thrift shops, like Goodwill, help those most vulnerable in their communities and give back to the needy.
To honor the national celebration, Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is offering a chance for shoppers to win a $100 Goodwill Gift Card just for shopping on August 17th at any Goodwill SWFL retail store or Outlet.
To enter, shoppers just need to take a photo of their receipt showing date and location, and email it to [email protected] with their name and phone number. Emails must be received by August 21st. Goodwill SWFL VIP Perk members are entered automatically once they use their VIP number at checkout.
Anyone can sign-up to be a VIP Perk member for free at http://www.goodwillperks.com/. Everyone has a chance to be a winner!
The contest is only valid at Goodwill stores in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, and Hendry counties, and includes the “blue” boutiques in Ave Maria and Downtown Fort Myers. The winner will be selected on August 22nd, notified by phone and announced on the Goodwill SWFL Facebook and Instagram pages.
The funds generated by sales and donations at Goodwill stores support the many community supports and services offered for free to those with barriers to independence.
