BACKYARD BASH RETURNS TO CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF NAPLES THIS FALL

NAPLES, Florida
(September 25, 2024) – Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON) is bringing back the highly anticipated fall fundraising event, Backyard Bash, presented by Ave Maria Development. This year’s event will take place on Friday, November 15 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the museum. Hosted by Jenny Urness and committee, proceeds from Backyard Bash will benefit CMON’s access-for-all program, which provides museum admission for more than 20,000 people annually.

Adults 21+ are invited to feel like kids again as they play their favorite larger-than-life backyard games and more. Plus, test your axe throwing and archery skills with Chuck-It Axes.

Enjoy a curated beer and wine beverage selection, music to dance the night away by AVYA Live, and chances to win exciting prizes. Dinner from local food trucks will be provided by Gator Creek BBQ, Horse Eyed Jake’s, and Spooktacular Sweets, and Wicked Streatery.

All funds raised go to bolstering the CMON’s access programs, which include providing $2 admission and $30 memberships to families eligible for food assistance programs like SNAP and WIC. It also supports the library access program allowing up to four passes to be checked out for free from all libraries in Collier, Lee, Charlotte and Hendry counties.

Tickets start at $125.00 and include beer/wine and dinner. Tickets are available for purchase! For more information about the event and sponsorship opportunities, contact Kayla Garrison at [email protected].

About the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples
The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples is a brain-building powerhouse and Southwest Florida’s first museum devoted for children and families to learn through play. With hands-on exhibit galleries, the accessible museum invites visitors of all ages to journey through the swamps of the Everglades, weave through a maze, climb a two-story banyan tree, or experiment with the water play station. Children can become a weather forecaster, a farmer, a chef, a fisherman, an artist, an architect, or a veterinarian; explore the cold of an igloo, the whoosh of the wind, the sound of the sea, and the effects of gravity. Throughout the day special activities encourage our guests to get involved, try something new and be energized. CMON offers a variety of interactive exhibits providing kids with education, play, learning, science, technology, engineering, inventions, space exploration, art, math, storybooks, creation, building, sensory, and child development.
