Innovation Walk Makes Strides:
Public Call for Art Installations Ends
Soon!

The vision for Innovation Walk, a vibrant mile-long
stretch of art and inspiration along the Fort Myers
River District, is taking shape! Here’s an update on
this exciting project:

Honoring the Legacy, Igniting the Future
Innovation Walk pays homage to the pioneering
spirit of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford, who
fostered a culture of invention in Fort Myers.
These iconic figures serve as the spark for a new
generation of “illumineers,” thinkers and creators
who will push the boundaries of human potential.

The Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency
(CRA) in conjunction with the Edison Awards is
seeking proposals from creative minds around the
world. The goal? To develop captivating installations
that celebrate human innovation and engage the public.

Imagine interactive experiences, thought-provoking
sculptures, and cutting-edge technology like augmented
reality, all seamlessly integrated into the scenic riverside
pathway
