Ft. Myers, Fla. (April 10, 2018) – Gary Piattoni, an expert appraiser on public television’s “Antiques Roadshow,” evaluated the antiques, collectibles and flea market finds of more than 60 Ft. Myers residents on March 29 at Cypress Point, Ft. Myers’ newest assisted living, memory support and short-term respite care community. Cypress Point hosted the free Antiques & Heirlooms event because some things are simply more appreciated with age.
Piattoni provided a brief educational history of each item and determined its potential market value. Some of the interesting finds included a unique antique gold vase, photos of President Nixon’s White House staff and a baseball from the 1953 World Series signed by series-winning New York Yankees™ players.
Cypress Point is a new senior living community offering assisted living, memory support and short-term respite care. The community features thoughtfully designed residences, all-day dining, enriching wellness programs, state-of-the-art programming, flexible month-to-month rental options and 24-hour nursing care, all to help residents enjoy a renewed focus on living life to its fullest.
