FORT MYERS, FL (Dec 14, 2022)– Live music continues at the Alliance for the Arts, and what better backdrop for a performance than the gorgeous Florida sky? Patchouli is an award-winning folk festival headliner and Public Radio favorite with pure, sparkling lead vocals and beautiful harmonies. Reserve your tickets now for February 4, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.

“The Landscape of Guitar” is a groundbreaking art and music production. Animated paintings are sung to life as guitar birds fly over rolling guitar rivers and vivid guitar worlds in stunning HD.

Patchouli is well known for their transcendent vocal chemistry and that’s not all folks. They are multi-disciplinary multi-instrumentalists.  An extraordinary bond is immediately apparent as two guitars merge into one acoustic wall of sound and their innovative, percussive flat-picking and hybrid fingerstyle techniques leave even astute listeners wondering where the drummer is.

Patchouli & Terra Guitarra are the #1 Charting International Guitar duo Awarded “2017 Best Instrumental Album of the Year” with 21 CDs and 4,500 shows in U.S. Europe & Asia. Remarkably, they are also renowned for their trademarked visual art concept with exhibitions on 3 continents. They bring their world class music and world class art together in the breathtaking Animated Painting Concert Experience, The Landscape of Guitar.

Zone Music Reporter calls Terra Guitarra “one of the top nuevo-flamenco groups in the world”, Awarded “Best Instrumental Album of the Year” for `Of Sea & Stars.’

Their sound, depth and virtuosity is described as “Simon and Garfunkel meets the Gipsy Kings” and City Pages compares it like “taking a yoga class in a field of running mustangs”. With 22 CDs, 5,000 shows played in US, Europe & Asia Patchouli & Terra Guitarra embody the spirit of the 60’s & 70’s and the Romance of the Spanish guitar, with their world class music that uplifts & gives hope in a show that “inspires the Human Spirit” – Chicago Tribune.

Pre-sale seating is limited to 132 and is first come, first serve. In the case of bad weather, the show will be moved indoors to the Foulds Theatre. Additional tickets may be available at the door, weather permitting. More information can be found at artinlee.org/event/patchouli or by calling the box office at 239-939-2787.
