SBA South Florida District Office Nominations for 2024 National Small Business Week Awards

2024 Small Business Award Nominations are due in about 1 Week!

SBA is accepting nominations for the National Small Business Week awards, which recognize SBA-
assisted small businesses’ inspirational achievements and contributions to their communities and our
nation’s economy. All nominations must be submitted electronically by 4 p.m. EST on December 7, 2023.

Nationally competed awards include “Small Business Person of the Year”, “Small Business Exporter of
the Year”, and other categories with one winner in each category per state. Guidelines on these national
awards can be found at National Small Business Week Awards | U.S. Small Business Administration

In addition to the national level awards, there are several district award categories that are available at the
local level, see below. Information about the eligibility for the South Florida District level awards can be

Minority Business Owner of the Year
Veteran Business Owner of the Year
Women Business Owner of the Year
Rural Business Owner of the Year
Small Business Advocate of the Year
Small Business Community Partner of the Year

The South Florida District Office must receive all nominations by electronic submission ONLY to the
District’s BOX account no later than 4 p.m. ET on December 7, 2023.  When submitting the files, please
make sure the file is clearly labeled and you indicate which category or categories you are nominating for.

Self-nominations are also accepted for all national and local awards nominations.
