Florida’s hurricane season begins June 1 and ends November 30. 

Now is the time to plan and prepare for the risks associated with hurricane season to protect
your business, employees, guests, and loved ones when alerted by emergency officials. Being
prepared can enhance safety and simplify the recovery process.

Please join us for an interactive VIRTUAL workshop and hear from the National Weather Service
about this year’s predictions.  Our speakers will share best practices, lessons learned and offer
guidance on how to prepare for hurricane season.

Lee County accommodations interested in FEMA’s Transitional Sheltering Assistance (TSA)
program, may learn more information here. The TSA provides temporary lodging for evacuees
unable to return home for an extended or unknown period after a disaster.
