ABOUT THE FIRESTONE

The Firestone is housed in a unique, historic four-story building with the only waterfront rooftop bar in the River District of Downtown Fort Myers, FL. The concept is inspired by American tire and automobile businessman Harvey S. Firestone, who wintered in Fort Myers around the turn of the century. Firestone, Ford, and Thomas Edison were considered the three leaders in American industry at the time and were part of a very exclusive group titled “The Millionaires’ Club.”

In the Grill Room and Mezzanine, patrons will enjoy a casual waterfront fine dining experience prepared by Executive Chef James Pryor and his culinary team. Patrons may then head up to the 4th floor to enjoy Skybar, a roof-top bar famous for it’s stunning sunset views of the Caloosahatchee River. Skybar offers an everyday happy hour from 4-7pm, and a stunning nightlife experience including VIP Bottle Service. The 3rd floor, the Martini Bar, is open on weekend evenings and is available for Private Parties 7 days a week, based on availability.

The Firestone is now open on Sundays and Mondays with new weekly events and entertainment to accommodate the upcoming holiday seasons. The Grill Room and Mezzanine is open Sunday – Thursday from 4-10pm and Friday and Saturday from 4-11pm; Skybar is open daily at 4pm until Close; and the Martini Bar is open Friday and Saturday at 9pm-2am. For information or to reserve your specialty New Years Eve dinner or VIP Bottle Service, please contact us at 239-334-3473 or visit our website at FirestoneFL.com.

Tots & Tails Christmas Toy Drive

The Tots & Tails Christmas Toy Drive is hosted by the American Military Veterans Foundation (a 501 (c) (3) and therapy dogs, Tala & Abigail (our dogs). AMMILVETS is an organization that helps veterans dealing with the invisible wounds of war – such as PTSD through music therapy, fishing rod making classes, fishing trips, etc. Tala & Abigail are local therapy dogs doing a lot of community outreach, so we put the toy drive in their name as well.
For our toy drive, we collect items for underprivileged children in Lee County and shelter animals. This year, we will be be bringing the joy of Christmas to the Harlem Heights Foundation and the Pine Manor United Way House. We have committed to about 500 kids. We need new, unwrapped toys & animal supplies.
We are not secret donors. We hand-deliver each bag of toys to each child. We convoy to each organization in a procession. We have volunteers that include members of the community, businesses, first responders, veterans, children, family and friends. We have a motorcycle escort, we use a local law enforcement agency’s armored vehicle as our Santa’s sleigh, we have a Santa & Mrs. Claus and our pups, Tala & Abigail. We hand out toys, spend time with the kids, do pictures with Santa, etc.  Last year, we provided Christmas & toys to over 400 kids in Lee & Collier counties and animal supplies to three local shelters. We had over 50 volunteers. We are collecting until Dec. 14 and our toy distribution day is Dec. 22.
We have boxes out at over 30 local businesses to help us collect toys.

Help the Harry Chapin Food Bank

The holidays are here, and the Harry Chapin Food Bank faces its most critical time of the year as it pushes forward on its mission to lead our community in the fight to end hunger. During the three months between Nov. 1 and the end of January, the food bank will receive about 50 percent of the total monetary donations it collects for the fiscal year.
These donations not only meet the heightened need of the holidays, but provide the means to carry on the food bank’s mission throughout the year.
The Harry Chapin Food Bank can turn every dollar donated into $8 worth of food, and 96 percent of all donations raised goes directly to programs serving people in need. They couldn’t do this without you. Please support the Harry Chapin Food Bank this holiday season by donating at harrychapinfoodbank.org!

Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt's Holiday Initiatives

The attorneys and staff at Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., was happy to spread their community efforts in a few different ways this year.  The firm continued its annual tradition of supporting the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program and quickly adopted 30 wishes.
In addition to making a monetary donation, 25 volunteers (including attorneys, staff and family members) spent the morning of Saturday, November 17, cutting vegetables, turkeys, making pasta sauce and stocking the food pantry to packaging and doing Meals on Wheels delivery.
On December 8, 25 volunteers will head to Naples and host a private concert with five members of the Naples Philharmonic and serve a catered holiday lunch at the Naples Senior Center. The staff also made handmade gifts for the seniors.
