The Southwest Florida Theatre Company PresentsNunsense II:
The Second Coming. Taking place six weeks after the hilarious
events seen in Nunsens when the sisters present their first benefit
to help bury their dearly departed sisters killed in a tragic cooking
accident, the sisters are back to present a “thank-you” show for all
the people who supported them in the past. 
 
Things get to off to a rousing start as the sisters sing Nunsense, the
Magic Word, but before long chaos erupts. Two Franciscans come
to claim Sister Mary Amnesia (who has won the Publishers Clearing
House Sweepstakes) as one of their own. At the same time the nuns
hear that a talent scout is in the audience to see them strut their stuff.

Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass:
Immerse yourself in the grandeur and magnificence of Joseph Haydn’s
masterwork, his Lord Nelson Mass. This stirring choral piece is a test-
ament to Haydn’s brilliance as a composer and showcases a powerful
blend of orchestra and voices. 
 
Winter Moons is a ballet based upon American Indian legends from the
Northern Plains and Rocky Mountains. It is in four movements and is per-
formed with a live storyteller to guide the audience thought the different
legends. The title of the ballet is derived from the idea that American
Indian stories are best told during the full moons of the wintertime.

Acclaimed as an “outstanding ensemble…cohesive yet full of temperament”
(The New York Times), the Verona Quartet has firmly established itself amongst
the most distinguished ensembles on the chamber music scene today. The group’s
singular sense of purpose most recently earned them Chamber Music America’s
coveted 2020 Cleveland Quartet Award, and a reputation for its “bold interpretive
strength, robust characterization and commanding resonance” (Calgary Herald).
The Quartet serves on the faculty of the Oberlin College and Conservatory as the
Quartet-in-Residence.
