SOUTHWEST FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT REPORTS FEBRUARY TRAFFIC

FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 24, 2022) – During February, 1,149,618 passengers traveled through Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers. This was an increase of 58 percent compared to February 2021. Year-to-date, passenger traffic is up 55 percent compared to last year.

The traffic leader in February was Delta with 210,182 total passengers. Rounding out the top five airlines were Southwest (198,162), United (159,276), American (141,073) and Spirit (132,475).

Southwest Florida International Airport had 10,032 aircraft operations, an increase of 27 percent compared to February 2021. Page Field saw 13,194 operations, a 23 percent increase compared to February 2021.
