Lipman Family Farms preparing for 7th Annual Backpack Giveaway and Back to School Event

Note to Media: Volunteers and community leaders will work alongside employees of Lipman Family Farms to stuff backpacks with school supplies in preparation for the 7^th Annual Lipman Family Farms Backpack Giveaway and Back to School Event. The backpack stuffing event takes place on Friday, July 27 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lipman Packing Facility in Immokalee.
 
Over 1,500 backpacks will be stuffed and 200 bikes assembled as the team prepares for the annual Backpack Giveaway. At the giveaway event on Aug. 4, backpacks, bikes, gift cards, food and back-to-school haircuts will be given out to the first 1,500 elementary and middle school students in Immokalee.
 
We hope to see you at the packing event on Friday and the backpack giveaway on Aug. 4.
