Golf Pros Gear Up for the 2nd Annual Grampy’s Pro-Am
Fort Myers, FL (November 12, 2018) – Sanibel Captiva Community Bank presents the 2nd Annual Grampy’s Pro-Am benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida. The tournament will take place on Friday, December 7th at Fiddlesticks Country Club in Fort Myers.
Registration and breakfast begin at 7:00 am followed by an 8:30am shotgun start. Each foursome will include a PGA Professional. Cocktails, lunch and awards will follow at 1:30pm.
The annual tournament was established 30 years ago by McDonald’s owner/operator Fred Frederic, founder of the Fort Myers Ronald McDonald House and chair of the golf committee for 27 years until his passing in August 2015. It was Fred’s desire to keep families close by providing a “home away from home” for families of hospitalized children.
Grampy’s Charities has graciously offered their support and leadership for the foreseeable future. 100% of the event proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida.
At the inaugural Pro-Am in 2017, Grampy’s Charities raised over $80,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
