Join beloved instructor and painter, Terry Lynn Spry, for her weekly
fine art painting classes designed for the novice to the professional.
Students are encouraged to work at their own level, and with their
subject and medium of choice. In this class, you can expect to learn
more about the spectrum of painting from realism to abstract, as well
as, studies in portraiture, color control, compositions, value study and
drawing.

Beginner Bonsai
March 6th
6:00PM – 9:00PM  

This interactive, hands-on workshop will introduce you to the
ancient art of Bonsai- the Japanese art of growing and training
miniature trees in containers, developed from the traditional
Chinese art form of penjing.  

The first part of our workshop will be a presentation discus-
sing the terminology, history, philosophies and aesthetics used
in Bonsai. We’ll also cover tools used, techniques needed, and
soil mechanics. This will be followed by questions and discus-
sion of live trees, with examples.

Instructed Life Drawing – Gestural & Structural Approach
to the Figure (18+) Beginner-Pro Level

“Students both beginning, intermediate and advanced
can learn from Francesco’s excellent teaching methods,
knowledge, humor, passion for the human form and all
aspects of fine art. Students are fortunate to have an
artist of his level as instructor.”  

Francesco will start each class with a 1/2 hour drawing
demonstration, the student will then apply the notions
learned in drawing a live model for 2.5 hours. One-on-
one assistance and feedback will be provided upon
request from the student.”

Painting With Francesco (Ages 18+)

“If you are interested in an oil painting class where you can learn
as a beginner or be pushed to the next level as a seasoned artist,
Francesco’s class is for you. You will see progress from the first
lesson on. Mix colors like a pro or make your compositions bet-
ter. It’s like a college level class only more fun.”  

Beginners will learn how to handle the medium and how to mix
color effectively. Intermediate students will copy old masters,
matching colors and brushstrokes. Advanced students will be
helped integrating art history and contemporary art concepts
in their personal work.

Step By Step Batik: The Mermaid (Ages 18+)

March 6th
9:30AM – 4:00PM  

If you’re looking for an intriguing art experience, this is the class
for you. Utilizing a technique that originated in Indonesia called
Batik, you will be working with multiple templates on Ginwashi
rice paper, using melted wax and watercolor to create a beautiful
painting that will boast a fabric-like finish. Whether you’re a be-
ginner or an experienced artist, you will thoroughly enjoy this
distinctive creative process, but do not hesitate to enroll.  

This full-day class will close once a maximum of 6 people have
signed up.

All supplies will be provided by the instructor, and there will be
a lunch break for lunch on your own .

Art Seekers Pre-K

March 6th

Looking for the perfect way to introduce your Pre-K child to visual arts?
This once a month class is perfect!  

Age 3-5 yr old children (who have not started Kindergarten) will
discover fun ways to create process art.  

Process Art is art that is child-directed, choice-driven, and celebrates
the experience of discovery. Therefore, the artwork is always unique
and the focus lies in the creation of the work, not the final product.

Expressive Palette Knife 2 Day Workshop
March 8th & 9th
9:30AM – 4:00PM  

This 2 Day information-packed workshop is designed to give a good
foundation for bold, direct palette knife painting. The workshop will
accommodate 5 to 20 painters, beginners thru advanced). Participants
can expect to produce at least one painting.  

Class starts with a demonstration focusing on the most direct and
effective methods for painting strong, vibrant oils using painting
knives and a limited palette. Participants are encouraged to ask
questions during the demonstration. Afterwards, participants will
paint from their own photography or may choose to paint from one
of the large photos provided for them by Jan Ellen (the instructor).

Wearable Art and Wine With Pat Collins (Ages 21+)

Explore your creative side and give new life to your wardrobe!  

Stencil, cut, stamp, stitch, sketch and sip your way to creating
your own unique piece of  wearable art. Whether you bring a 
new garment or a thrift store find,  experiment with various
techniques to express yourself as you personalize your look!   

In this session we will focus on sketching, cutting, and arranging 
shapes and silhouettes to create a design, then explore techniques
using stencils & cutouts to personalize your garment, transforming
it into wearable art!  

All supplies provided EXCEPT the garment you want to use.  

Ages 21 and over only (2 glasses of wine per student included)

Character Concept Creation (Ages 10-15)

Looking to learn how to design your own characters and creatures?
Or maybe you’re looking for some new tricks or inspiration to better
your own artwork?

Whether you’re a skilled user or a complete newbie to digital art
programs, this class is perfect for you!  

We’ll go over everything: how to use Procreate to make our very own
character concepts and designs; what goes into creating appealing and
interesting characters; and different methods and styles when designing
our characters!

Discovering Soulcollage® An introductory Workshop (Beginner Level)

SoulCollage® is a contemplative and insightful process of self-discovery.
It gently opens you to a new way of exploring your inner wisdom. It is a
practice by which you can communicate with the unique aspects of your-
self while engaging your creativity! Using simple tools – scissors, glue,
magazine images, and mat board – you create cards that are uniquely
yours. This process honors your own time, pace, inner-language and
spirituality.  

No prior art experience needed. This introductory workshop will provide
everything you need to get started with SoulCollage®.

Spring Break Arts Camp (Ages 7-11)

Welcome to our Spring Break Art Retreat Camp designed just
for your little creatives! This camp offers a variety of activities
for kids ages 7-11, our mornings will sparkle with art journaling
and meditation for focus and revitalization. Children will unveil
hidden talents in the afternoons with the rhythm of music and
creative expression.
