Welcome to the Music & Arts Community Center (MACC)

In the midst of a challenging time for the world, the Gulf Coast Symphony held fast to a vision: to create a home for community and the arts, where music is always at the center. From that vision, work began during the pandemic in 2020, and by January 2021, the MACC officially opened its doors.

Since then, the MACC has become more than just a venue—it’s a dynamic, intimate space where diverse programming, professional theater, and meaningful connections thrive. While the Symphony continues its large-scale concerts at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, the MACC offers something different: world-class performances experienced up close, in a space designed to bring people together.

Here, audiences enjoy everything from jazz and comedy to chamber music, theater, and national touring acts—all under one roof. Beyond performances, the MACC is also home to youth programs, jazz ensembles, and summer camps, making it a hub for the next generation of artists.
