RSW TERMINAL EXPANSION PROJECTS ADVISORY #7: CROSSWALK 5 LOWER LEVEL REOPENS

RSW TERMINAL EXPANSION PROJECTS ADVISORY #7:

CROSSWALK 5 LOWER LEVEL REOPENS

The work has been completed on Crosswalk 5 on the lower level at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and is fully reopened to pedestrians as of today, Aug. 27, 2025, at noon. The temporary detour, planned for Aug. 20-29, is no longer needed. Passengers and airport visitors can now traverse between the terminal and parking garage, ground transportation, shuttles and Rental Car facility.

As a reminder, on the west side of the terminal, both the lower and upper level of Crosswalk 5 are open for direct access between the parking garage and terminal. On the east side, the lower level of Crosswalk 1 is open for pedestrians.

This work was part of the Concourse E Project at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). The Lee County Port Authority will continue to post updates on the airport’s website and Facebook to help travelers and airport users become aware of changes due to construction. We appreciate your understanding as we increase capacity, airport efficiency and provide passengers with more amenities and options at Southwest Florida International Airport.
