The Florida Public Relations Association named Priority Marketing as its Agency of the Year, honoring the firm with its prestigious 2025 Gold Pinnacle Award for medium-sized agencies.
Founded in 1938, the Florida Public Relations Association is the oldest public relations trade association in the U.S. and is dedicated to developing public relations practitioners who, through ethical and standardized practices, enhance the public relations profession in Florida.
FPRA’s Agency of the Year program recognizes firms that perform exceptional work providing public relations, marketing and communication services.
“Florida is home to many outstanding public relations firms, and to be selected as this year’s Gold Pinnacle Award winner is truly humbling,” said Priority Marketing President and Chief Creative Officer Teri Hansen, APR. “Our team takes great pride in delivering solutions to clients, and that means bringing strategic concepts, innovative ideas and creativity to the table every day.”
In addition to the Gold Pinnacle Award, Priority Marketing also won four awards at the Florida Public Relations Association’s 2025 Golden Image Awards, an annual recognition launched in 1957 to celebrate outstanding public relations campaigns. The firm’s Golden Image Award winners include:
- Golden Image Award and Judges’ Creativity Award in the Integrated Marketing category for “Gnome Matter What,” Lee County’s Fertilize Smart Awareness Campaign to protect local waterways, the region’s quality of life and economy.
- Golden Image Award in the Public Service category for “No Veteran Left Behind,” Warrior Homes of Collier’s campaign to end veteran homelessness in Collier County through expanded civic partnerships, focused donor outreach and sustained media engagement.
- Award of Distinction in the Online Audience Engagement Category for “Bigham Bling,” an influencer and social media campaign promoting luxury jewelry pieces hand-crafted by Bigham Jewelers in Naples.
One of Priority Marketing’s team members – Public Relations Specialist Jada Bigord – also was recognized for her role in developing “Soaring Connections,” a career-focused event sponsored by the Southwest Florida Chapter of FPRA, Florida Gulf Coast University’s Student Chapter of FPRA and the Department of Communication and Philosophy at FGCU. That initiative won an Award of Distinction in the Special Event category.
Awards were presented Aug. 5 at FPRA’s 2025 PR & Comms Summit in Orlando. During that conference, two additional members of Priority Marketing’s public relations team – Director of Public Relations Emily Golden and Media Relations Manager Noelani Fender – were recognized for attaining advanced credentials. Golden, who previously earned an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), completed the Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC) accreditation program. Fender was awarded Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) through the Universal Accreditation Board. Priority Marketing now employs seven team members with APR credentials and four with CPRC credentials.
