Director Michael Marotta brings sharp wit, smooth style, and a whole lot of Rat Pack flair to Florida Rep’s 28th season opener.

Florida Rep is thrilled to welcome back director and choreographer Michael Marotta, a longtime favorite and visiting artist since the theatre’s earliest days. Michael is no stranger to our stage, having helmed audience favorites like Forever Plaid, Beguiled Again, A Grand Night for Singing, and his memorable turn in Tenderly: The Rosemary Clooney Musical.

Michael knows how to swing, shine, and keep the spotlight buzzing. He, in collaboration with the cast and other members of the creative team, is on track to deliver an unforgettable night of music and laughter.

With a career spanning Broadway, Off-Broadway, national stages, and even television (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Michael brings a wealth of artistry, energy, and wit to every production he touches. Now, he’s channeling all of that experience into The Rat Pack Lounge, promising a dazzling night of music, laughs, and pure Rat Pack magic to kick off Florida Rep’s 28th season. THE RAT PACK LOUNGE is a nostalgic musical revue, with a modern twist, that features over 30 songs by favorite crooners Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis, Jr.
