She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park University. Some SWFL credits include Girl in Once (TheatreZone), Luisa in The Fantasticks (Players Circle Theater), Jovie in Elf the Musical, Julie in Perfect Wedding, Beautiful: the Carole King Musical, A Christmas Carol the Musical (Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre). www.lexiraesmith.com Desiré Gaston is an Atlanta native, and is excited to be a part of the Southwest Florida Theatre Company’s production of “Jerry’s Girls”. She recently worked with the Aurora Theater as “Diva Donna” in “Donna: The Donna Summer Mus- ical” and a supporting vocalist in the Alliance Theatre’s “A Gift of Love: Adam McKnight”. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Alabama State University in Montgomery, AL. For fun, Desire’ enjoys gardening, cooking, and singing at her church home. Susan Chidester is thrilled to get the chance to play in Jerry’s Girls. She counts herself very fortunate to have been cast in many shows for Gulf Coast Symphony including as Mrs. Paroo in Music Man and Mazeppa in Gypsy. Other recent local roles include Dotty/Belinda U/S in Noises Off at Gullfshore Playhouse, Adult Woman in Spring Awakening for Arts-Bonita, and many roles at Theatrezone where she was seen most recently in Bonnie & Clyde and Bridges of Madison County. After earning a BFA in Theatre from Penn State, Susan has performed in NYC, CA, and toured across the country, before finally settling in SW Florida in 2011. Nayda Marie Baez is an AMDA graduate who is from Cape Coral, Fl. Favorite credits include: Anita (West Side Story), Magneta (Rocky Horror Show Live), and Urleen (Footloose). Nayda has also worked with Virgin Voyages as enter- tainment getting to travel across the world.
