LMCU Announces Winner of 2025 $50,000 Home Makeover Sweepstakes

Grand Rapids, MI (August 25, 2025) – Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is pleased to announce Jim F. of Nunica, Michigan, as the 2025 winner of the credit union’s annual $50,000 Home Makeover Sweepstakes.
This year’s sweepstakes once again broke LMCU’s record for total entries, with over 1.6 million submissions received online and at LMCU’s branches between April 1 and June 26, 2025.
LMCU President and CEO, Julie Leonard, got to tell Jim and his wife, Rhonda, about their win firsthand. “LMCU’s mission is to help all our members achieve their financial dreams for a lifetime,” Leonard said, “and this year’s $50,000 Home Makeover Sweepstakes theme, ‘Fund Your Happy Place,’ spoke directly to that. Jim and Rhonda trust LMCU with their money, so now we’re proud to give back and help them kickstart their next big dream.”
