HSC/Tuscan & Company announces staff promotions
Fort Myers, FL — May 14, 2026 — HSC/Tuscan & Company, P.A., announces three staff promotions. Ryan Schuster has been promoted to Audit Department manager, Brendan Perkins has been promoted to Audit Department supervisor, and Nick Rota has been promoted to Client Advisory & Accounting Services (CAAS) Department supervisor.
Ryan Schuster, CPA, joined the firm in 2021. As audit manager, he will guide the auditing team and oversee attestation engagements across multiple industries. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting & Taxation, with a concentration in Data Analytics from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Brendan Perkins joined the firm in 2021 as audit supervisor, he will lead a team of auditors and oversee attestation engagements across a variety of industries. He has extensive experience with pension plans, nonprofit organizations and local government audits. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in health care management.
Nicolas (Nick) Rota, CPA, joined the firm in 2018. As CAAS Supervisor in the Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) department he will work closely with the team to advise business owners and individual clients to provide accounting, tax and advisory support. He and his team also will assist clients in resolving IRS-related issues, including responding to notices, correcting filings and addressing compliance matters.
