Spotlight on Néstor Torres

Renowned for his lyrical style and genre-defying sound, Néstor Torres is
a master flautist whose music bridges jazz, classical, Latin, and pop. Born
in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, he studied at the Puerto Rico Conservatory of
Music, the Mannes School of Music in New York, and the New England
Conservatory. Though classically trained, it was in the world of Latin
jazz that he found his unique artistic voice.

With a career spanning over four decades, Torres has released 18 al-

Beyond the stage, Torres is a dedicated educator and advocate for the
arts, using music as a vehicle for healing, unity, and cultural dialogue.
