Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida Honored with Two Prestigious ENPY Awards
Fort Myers – Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is proud to announce that the organization has been recognized with two distinguished honors at The Community Foundation’s annual ENPY Awards luncheon. This celebration of nonprofit excellence, spanning from Sarasota to Naples, highlights the achievements of organizations and leaders who make a lasting impact in their communities.

Out of several hundred nominations across multiple categories, Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida was nominated in three and emerged as the winner in two:
• Economic Empowerment Award – Recognizing nonprofits that provide services breaking down barriers and offering a hand up, not a handout. Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida was selected among 14 finalists for its commitment to empowering individuals through workforce development, training, and community support.
• Fundraising and Development Excellence Award – Honoring leaders who inspire generosity, mobilize support, and achieve measurable impact. Goodwill’s Director of Development, Ashley Price, was named the winner among 14 finalists for her outstanding leadership and dedication to advancing Goodwill’s mission.
Each award carried a $5,000 prize, further supporting Goodwill’s mission to transform lives through the power of work and opportunity.
“There were many worthy non-profits nominated for these awards, so we should take great pride as an organization for our Agency award and to Ashley for her personal achievement,” said John Nadeau, CEO and President of Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida.
Goodwill extends its heartfelt gratitude to the nominators, The Community Foundation, and the Southwest Florida community for their continued support. These awards underscore the vital mission of Goodwill: to provide opportunities that strengthen families, build communities, and help individuals achieve independence.
